The Vikings have now signed five players from the now-defunct league"The Minnesota Vikings just keep on adding players from the once-was Alliance of American Football league. The other player being signed is former San Diego Fleet safety Jordan Martin Womens Anthony Barr Jersey , according to Mike Garafolo. This will be Martin’s first NFL contract. He played his college ball with Toledo and played eight games with Syracuse. Martin has experience at the cornerback position, as he’s started in 14 games there while at Toledo. He made the move to Safety while with the Orange, where he started in five games. Here’s an interception he had while in the AAF:Martini, the Notre Dame Alum, was tied for fifth in the AAF with 55 tackles before the league pumped the brakes on the season. Martini joined the Green Bay Packers practice squad last season as a undrafted free agent. The 23-year-old played in all four preseason games where he recorded 13 tackles. Here’s an interception by Martini:Here’s an example of some good vision during last year’s preseason stint:The Vikings aren’t messing around with adding these AAF players. Beefing up the practice squad, perhaps? Martin and Martini are the fourth and fifth players from the AAF to be signed by Minnesota. The others are: Cornerback Duke Thomas, defensive end Karter Schult and safety Derron Smith. All five are defensive players. Ohhh and this one’s for Eric and Chris :)
