The Cardinals placed the second-year running back on season-ending injured reserve Monday with a hip injury. Ellington missed Sundays 17-14 win over Kansas City because of the injury that he suffered at Atlanta the previous week. He rushed for 660 yards and three touchdowns on 201 carries and caught 46 passes for 395 yards and two scores.
