The Circus Trip is living up to its name for the Chicago Blackhawks.Coming off its most thrilling win this season, Chicago seeks its third consecutive victory Monday night when it visits the Edmonton Oilers, who will try to build off a career milestone from 19-year-old captain Connor McDavid. When the circus comes to Chicagos United Center every November, it forces both the Blackhawks and the NBAs Bulls on extended road trips. Rogers Place will be the fourth stop on a seven-game trek for the Blackhawks (13-4-2), who head to California after this contest.First, they look for their 10th win in the past 11 against the Oilers -- including five of six in Edmonton. Over the past 10 matchups, the Blackhawks have scored 41 goals while allowing only 21.If the Blackhawks are to continue their success against the Oilers, then they must do so on the heels of an improbable 4-3 overtime win Saturday over the Vancouver Canucks. With Chicago down 3-0 in the third period, Artemi Panarin, Vinnie Hinostroza and Ryan Hartman scored before Marian Hossa tallied the game-winner in the final minute of the extra session after an apparent overtime goal was overturned.Hossa also broke a 2-2 tie with 2:23 to play Friday night, lifting Chicago to a 3-2 win over the Calgary Flames. In 10 games this month, Hossa has eight goals -- including three game-winners -- and two assists.Hossa continues to do what hes been doing all year; hes been scoring some huge goals for us. Biggest one weve scored all year, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said after Saturdays win.Hossa, who turns 38 on Jan. 12, leads the team with 11 goals, and he has notched two goals and six assists in a four-game points streak in Edmonton. That includes an overtime marker that lifted Chicago to a 4-3 win on Nov. 18, 2015.Though he has faced Edmonton only three times and taken just nine shots, Panarin -- who beat out McDavid for the 2016 Calder Trophy as the top rookie -- has four goals and three assists. After Scott Darling started against the Canucks, Corey Crawford will likely be back in goal for Chicago on Monday. Crawford has allowed just nine goals in his past four road games, winning three of those contests. He is 4-1-0 with a 2.32 goals-against average over five career starts in Edmonton. Our goaltending is the reason why weve been doing well all year, said Quenneville, whose team has opened up a five-point lead over the St. Louis Blues in the Central Division. After being a league doormat in recent season, the Oilers (10-8-1) have been at or near the top of the Pacific Division for much of this season, but it has been a roller coaster ride. They are currently in a tie with the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks for the top spot.Edmonton got off to a 7-1-0 start before coming back to Earth with a 3-7-1 stretch that included a five-game losing streak. That was snapped Saturday night when McDavids first career hat trick helped the Oilers to a 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars.Three pretty lucky goals, McDavid said. Its a funny league that works that way. You get grade-A chances and theyre not going in, then you start putting it there and they are going in. Its weird that way. Definitely happy to get off that slump.McDavid leads Edmonton with eight goals and 14 assists through 19 games, but he has failed to score a goal in four consecutive home games. This also is McDavids first chance to face the Blackhawks -- a broken collarbone as a rookie last season limited the top overall pick in the 2015 NHL Draft to 45 games.Edmonton coach Todd McLellan said the Oilers shouldnt get overly excited about the win at Dallas. We still have a lot of work to do, McLellan said. Frustrating in some areas of the game, but we cant over-evaluate a win right now. Well take it any way we can get it. Reload and get back home.Edmonton has managed just three goals while dropping three straight in its new arena to fall to 4-4-0 at home. The Oilers have also scored only two power-play goals in 25 chances at Rogers Place so far.Goaltender Cam Talbot has never faced the Blackhawks while with Edmonton. As a member of the New York Rangers, Talbot went 1-1-0 with a 1.01 GAA and .968 save percentage against Chicago. Air Max 270 All Black Mens . TAMPA, Fla. -- To say it has been an interesting year for former junior scoring sensation and No. 3 overall pick Jonathan Drouin is to offend the word interesting.Just over a year ago, Drouin asked to be traded by the Tampa Bay Lightning, the team that took him with its first selection in 2013. After his demand, the Lightning sent Drouin to the minors, and he subsequently left the organization entirely as he awaited a trade that never materialized.Five weeks later, Drouin returned to the Lightnings American Hockey League affiliate in Syracuse, where he played well. He rejoined the Lightning later that spring for a postseason run to the Eastern Conference finals, which they lost in seven games to the eventual Stanley Cup-champion?Pittsburgh Penguins.?Drouin, 21, had five goals and 14 points in 17 playoff games for the Lightning.Like his entire team, Drouin -- who is in his most productive stretch of the season, with six points in his past four games -- has experienced some ups and downs. ESPN.com caught up with the Montreal native on the eve of an important three-game Western Canadian road trip for his team.ESPN.com: As a scorer, do you get a feeling of when youre about to go on a hot streak?Jonathan Drouin: No, you just go out there and play. Some nights youre going to have chances, and some nights youre going to play a real good defensive team. Lately, the pucks going in when Im shooting. Hopefully that keeps going.ESPN.com:?You went five games without a point before this stretch. When it doesnt happen, are there things you can do to change things up?Drouin:?You obviously look at video of your games, whether youre contributing or youre not. Five games is a little long, but if its one or two games, maybe youre still playing the right way, playing well, and its just not going in. But you want to microscope your game a little bit, go to those hard areas to get those bounces -- and then hopefully it starts going in.ESPN.com:?For every young player, theres a learning process of how to break things down and how to change things up. Has that process been difficult for you? Are you more comfortable doing that now?Drouin: Yeah, Im way more comfortable now. In junior, youre kind of the old guy, so coming in here with all those veterans is different. Youre the young guy. Last year in the playoffs, I think I started to get to know the league, the other players, the systems, what they do -- and to get comfortable.ESPN.com:?Whats it like in the dressing room when a team this good is struggling?Drouin:?You want to bee in a playoff spot right away, but this is December.ddddddddddddTeams are so good, standings are so tight, so were not hitting the panic button. Were calm, but we still know its time to step up and get some wins here.ESPN.com:?Is it weird to look at standings and see that you arent in a playoff spot?Drouin: For us, for sure. In past years, we were always in a playoff spot. But there are so many good teams, and were not playing our best hockey right now.ESPN.com: Its been an eventful year for you. When you look back, do you think you are a different person now?Drouin: Just [in terms of] maturity. You get used to stuff around the league. You see stuff that maybe you didnt see last year. It was definitely a weird year, with all that stuff, but when I came back here during playoffs, guys were great. Its the same way here now, and its nice to have the same kind of team.ESPN.com:?When you came back and played so well, did it surprise you how people treated you, that the guys were really good to you?Drouin: No. Not with these guys. I didnt [ask for the trade] because of the guys in this room. When I came back -- and it was the same in Syracuse -- guys were great, the staff was great. It was like nothing happened. That was huge for me to see that guys didnt really care about what had happened before.ESPN.com:?Did they ever joke with you about it?Drouin: Yeah, definitely. There have been a couple of jokes.ESPN.com:?Can you tell us what they were?Drouin: Yeah. Are you going to go home? Stuff like that. Guys joke about it, but were past it now.ESPN.com:?Do you like where your game is now?Drouin: Theres still a lot of stuff I want to improve. But I think its going in the right direction lately. I think maybe not the past couple of weeks -- I havent been playing my best hockey -- but the past couple of games Ive felt good.ESPN.com:?Have you had family come and stay with you?Drouin: They visit quite a bit. Were from Montreal, so I see them more [down here in Tampa] in the wintertime. I get a lot of family [visitors] during the wintertime. Sometimes youre alone in your condo, and the time gets pretty long, so its nice to have them here.ESPN.com:?Do you have a routine away from rink now??Drouin:?At first, it was a little different. Like I said, Im from Montreal. Im used to snow and weather changes, but Im definitely not complaining. [Tampa] is a fun city.?It definitely feels like home now. ' ' '
